Our herbal teas
We have selected classical herbs for our herbal teas. Clean herbs with well- known health benefits. Herbs that we are very fond of ourselves. Just like our teas, our herbs have no chemical additives. We have chosen to not do strong blends but to let the simplicity in each herb blossom. All herbal teas, that we are selling, are organic and therefor good for mankind and thenature.
Drinking herbal tea is an ancient way to find strength and health. Herbs can affect the body in different ways and you should not exaggerate your intake. It is a good habit to vary the herbal teas you drink.
Herbs are plants with non-woody stem, according to the dictionaries botanical definition. Others argue that herb is an overall term for all useful plants that can be used in food, beverage and medicine. Herbs are often beautiful to grow, highly fragrant and aromatic in food and drinks. Our herbal teas are all naturally free from theine, the stimulating substance that you find in all teas from the plant Camellia Sinensis, which is the same substance as coffeine.
Herbs are surrounded by mystery. This is due to their strong effect on humans, in many cases. Many herbs have a beneficial effect that contributes to good health and wellbeing.
Peppermint
Since ancient times mint has been cultivated as a medicinal plant. The name appeared for the first time in Greek mythology. There are many different varieties of mint. We have selected Peppermint because its powerful and fresch taste. Mint supports digestion and is therefor perfect after dinner.




Chamomile
Our Chamomile is a natural herbal tea that only contains organically grown Chamomile flowers. Chamomile grows wild in many places around the world. The family name Chamaemelum comes from Greek and means “earth apple”. Within ancient herbal medicine Chamomile has been used to aid digestion and help with sleep.
Lemongrass
Do not let this humble grass disappoint you. Lemongrass has a fresh, subtle taste that is easy to love. It grows and is used in many parts of the world, such as South- and Southeast Asia and Latin America. It is perfect to drink to a meal or in between meals, hot or as ice tea.




Lemonbalm and Rose buds
Lemon balm is a beautiful herb from the Mediterranean that suits well to drink early mornings as well as late nights. Lemonbalm brings mental and physical well being. It contributes to optimal relaxation and helps to maintain a healthy sleep. The rose buds add a pleasurable aroma and a beautiful sight.

Verbena
Verbena är en gammal ört som passar att dricka efter maten. Det är ett vackert te med ljusgul färg och en svag doft av citron som dricks i många länder runt Medelhavet.




Brewing
Good quality water is of great importance for herbal tea. Hard water or water with other off-flavors affect your cup of herbal tea both in appearance and taste.
Use 1-2 teaspoons of herb per teacup. Add the herbs in a tea pot, pour on the steaming hot water and put on the lid to prevent the valuable substances from evaporate. Let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes. Strain it into your cup and enjoy the smell and taste.
Milk does not compliment herbal tea but honey is excellent if you want to add sweetness. It’s beautiful to let the herbal tea cool, to be drunk as iced tea or instead of juice.
